Weekend of July 28 - Pools 4 & 5

Had a great weekend practicing on the Mississippi River Pools 4 & 5. Saturday focused on the upper portion of Pool 4, found some really nice smallies & largies. Best 5 fish would have been 14+lbs, and the smallies were eating topwater, does not get much better then that. Josh also would have had a decent mixed bag limit

Sunday was all about fishing below Wabasha, even locked through to Pool 5. Almost all largemouth on Sunday, good frog action, swim jigs, jigs & soft plastics Best 5 for me.... around 10lbs. Tim, who I was fishing with, caught a couple toads on a frog, he would have had 12-13lbs.
