I will add a little flavor to the board with a down south report from Old Hickory, TN.
I fished a club tourney on Old Hickory and really was not expecting much. The lake is low and not much water is being generated. We know from experience with no water generation and current the bite is tough. Sometimes you only have 1 hour or less to make it all happen and I just did that.
I started out in some shallow mil-foil and got one 14" keeper off a fluke and caught a few other dinks on a shakey head. I tried a few other pockets off the main channel with dinks at home. I had been eye-balling a ledge at the mouth of a creek. I decided with a generator being turned on at 9am for 1 hour I would give it a shot. I pulled in and at 9:05 I had a nice 3.57 LB fish on a watermelon jig. I commenced to whacking them for the next 20 minutes or so. I had my limit of about 12 lbs in less then 10 minutes. My next 3 fish would be good up grades. I ended up with 5 bass for 15.48 lbs. 9:30 to 9:45 the current shut down and so did the bass. I never caught another fish after 10:00 a.m. I ended up in 1st place and increased my lead in the club from 10lbs to 23 lbs for AOY.
Hopefully I can duplicate it next weekend during the Bassmaster Weekend 2-day divsional and can improve on my 7th place standings.

Congrats Billy, good to hear you are better at fishing in real life than you are at the fantasy fishing. ;D
