I can sure tell fishing season is open in Minnesota. No more chatting on the BB. You see if you fish all year round you can check out the fishing forum all year too.

Hi Rich, I live in Lakeville and I am always looking for great bass lakes. I know as a fellow bass fisherman we are reluctant to give away good lakes, but what lake were you on for the opener? How about other south metro bass lakes? Thanks.

Craig
I used to live in Lakeville and there are a lot of lakes close by that are great for Bass. In Lakeville you have Marion and Orchard. I wasn't a fan of Orchard but I didn't spend much time on it. Crystal has some nice fish in it. There are some little lakes west of Lakeville that are nice Carl's (McMahon) and Fish. Both are just off 210th St. West. Northwest you have Prior and O'Dowd. There are also some nice lakes west of 494 on Hwy 5 from Chanhassen west. There are many more but these were the ones I spent a lot of time on.

Larry's suggestions are right on and the lake I fished is named in the list by Larry, guess you will have to get out & fish them! Prior is down a little these days, but the rest fo those lakes are really good. I would add Spring Lake to the list as well, never been there, but heard lots of good things
