I went to Indiana over Memorial weekend to visit some of my cousins. They have a lake house on Holiday Lake in Crawfordsville Indiana. It is fairly small about 150 acres. I got up early about 6 and headed out myself. Come to find out my cousins are not quite the bassers I am and really wasn't prepared. The trolling motor was dead and all the accessories, dead battery. It really wasn't windy so I just kinda drifted along points on the main lake. I caught 7 bass before breakfast and all over 14". Biggest about 3lbs. I caught them all on a Black 3/8 oz Secret Lures football jig. www.secretlures.com
I am really liking this new jig I am using. It really reminds me and fishing alot like a Chompers football jig.
Anyhow breakfast came a calling so I went. Grace and I head back out for some crappie fishing. For the 2 days and keep in mind we only fished about 2hrs at a time. Basically I would by 3 dozen minnows and when they were gone we headed back in. We ended up with 73 keeper crappie. We caught many many small crappie and bass.
Oh ya also caught several bottle bass and a nice bottle of Patron Tequilla.
