I would like to dedicate this post to Dave. I met Dave at our first JR Gopherbass tourny on Lake Waconia, he was my boat captain. We connected right away; he taught me so many things about the lake and fishing in general for the State Tourny on Waconia a week after. He got me hooked on Lake forks Ring-Fry as well. After the day was over he even offered to take me out on Waconia again for more Pre-fishing. We had a blast out there and slaughtered them. (On the ring-fry) He taught me more things and showed me great spots. He also introduced me to weed lines and how great they are. When we were done fishing he even dropped me off at work only to pick me up the next night to take me to the State tourny meeting. When he brought me home, he let me barrow two of his rods, his culling clips with white board, and his scale for the tounry. He took me under his wings that whole week and showed great generosity. And I would like to acknowledge that. I don’t live with my dad so he was a great Mentor/Father figure for my first state tourny. As far as the results go, I caught 5 fish culled and couple times. The spots we found paid off not only to me but my Co-angler who won 3rd place. I did not place but I was on our 4 man team, which took first in the tourny!! So thank you Dave, This is for you (P.S I have caught 2 fish over 4 pounds in the past week with those Ring-frys.......I’m addicted)

Frank, maybe no one told you the secret to Ring Fry fishing. Soak the Ring Fry in Macardi and Limmon.
